Personal Description:

Experienced Geography teacher at JC and LC levels. I have obtained excellent results with JC and LC students in the Dublin school that I teach in and with past grinds students.

Achieved a 1.1 in Professional Masters of Education from NUI Galway. Previously achieved a 1.1 in Masters of Arts in Psychology from University of Limerick. I previously worked as a behavioural psychology tutor in an Autism school for 3 years which enabled me to develop a focus on differentiation strategies to ensure students of all abilities can achieve.

Tutoring Experience:

I have extensive experience teaching higher and ordinary levels in Leaving Certificate (LC) and Junior Cycle (JC) Geography. My career includes teaching in a Dublin school for four years and an Autism school for three years. This experience has given me an appreciation of different learning styles. I have strong skills in exam technique and preparation, allowing me to effectively support students in achieving their academic goals.

Approach to Grinds:

I begin by identifying each student’s learning approach to ensure effective support. Sessions are structured and paced to build subject confidence and exam readiness for Junior and Leaving Certificate assessments.

Supplementary materials, including notes, sample answers, and targeted formative assessments, are provided to address individual learning needs.
