Personal Description:

I'm a highly experienced teacher and tutor of French and Spanish, offering tailored 1-1 lessons for secondary & university students of French.

As I have learnt four foreign languages, I am very patient and can facilitate this with tailor made strategies for your unique learner style !
With over 25 years of teaching experience, including 12 years in France and Spain, I bring both depth of knowledge and practical fluency to my lessons.
I am fully registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland in French, Spanish, and English and am a full time secondary teacher.

My focus on personalised tuition to help learners progress with clarity and confidence in all skills whether for exams, travel, or work.

Tutoring Experience:

My teaching career began as a répétitrice and assistant at ESCR, a private secondary school in Haute-Savoie. I also taught English for 2 years in Lyon and 7 years in Paris in 'formation continue' in language schools.
In Valencia, Spain, I taught both English and French at the secondary level for over three years. Currently, I teach French, Spanish and some English where my students consistently achieve excellent exam results.

I offer an integrated language approach based on communicative methodology. This comprises of personalised interactive digitally enhanced exercises and strategies to help you succeed.

Mock preparation.
Mock oral preparation commences in October also withe the option to do 2 classes per week.

Your Questions Answered.

1) How will my tuition be structured?

It depends on the learning option you choose, once or twice per week on your chosen days.

Extensive : 1 40 minute class per week plus feedback & resources
Intensive : 2 40 minute classes per week plus feedback & resources ( More beneficial for LC students)

2) What is the cost of my lessons ?

€Tuition rates from August 2025 for all new students

: € 185 for 5 one - one personalised zoom lessons
The class is 40 minutes on zoom with immediate feedback and you will receive support materials, learning strategies and further exercises.

For intensive classes 8 lessons
( over 4 weeks) = €280

The first trial lesson is paid in advance also €45

3) How can I be assured I am making progress in my language?

It will be clear with your new language competency, confidence and results!



Rescheduling policy *

If you need to reschedule a lesson,I request 24 hours notice where possible,and I will hold the lesson as per my longstanding policy.
