Personal Description:

¡Hola! My name is María, and I am a native Spanish speaker. I was born in Germany and raised in Chile. I have recently relocated to Cork after living in Germany for the past six years. I offer tutoring in Spanish, German, and Brazilian Portuguese. With my multicultural background and passion for languages, I enjoy helping students not only improve their language skills but also gain insight into different cultures.
I am open-minded, patient, and enthusiastic, and I would be delighted to support you on your learning journey.

Tutoring Experience:

From an early age, I developed a strong interest in pedagogy. My mother worked as a school teacher, and my father teaches at the University of Chile. In Chile, I organized tutoring classes to support children and young people with their schoolwork. Later, in Germany, I gained further experience by teaching German to young refugees.

Approach to Grinds:

I use innovative and engaging teaching methods, always adapting to each student’s individual learning style. I am confident in teaching at all levels. While much of my experience has been with children and young people, I also greatly enjoy and value the opportunity to work with adults, finding it both rewarding and inspiring.
