Information About Nathan - Clonee tutor

Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Nathan . I am a 20 year college student attending DCU, currently studying psychology. I achieved a total of 578 points in my leaving cert in 2024 including a H1 in both geography (97%) and biology (95%). I am offering grinds in both of these subjects with a particular emphasis on personalised exam paper preparation. As I completed my Leaving Cert recently I feel as though I am still up to date with problems faced by students through this stressful year and can provide useful insight.

Tutoring Experience:

While I am new to tutoring, I have experience working through papers and giving grinds to a family friend throughout the 2025 academic year. I am very clued-in to the current syllabus in place and can communicate ideas and explanations effectively.

Approach to Grinds:

The focus of my grinds will be on exam papers, techniques, as well as predictions. I believe in exam paper practice rather than learning entire curriculums. I will personally work through papers with students, explaining the paper layout along with what I believe to be the best approach to the subject. If needed I can go through past papers myself, creating personalised mock papers based on common questions and predictions. These predictions will be based on patterns drawn from previous years. Furthermore I will go through particular topics with students explaining the nuances of chapters they are struggling with and creating flash cards when appropriate.
