Personal Description:
Hello!
I'm Hayden. I studied chemistry at the University of Canterbury (BSc(Hons)) and University of California, Davis (PhD). Following graduation, I worked as a post-doctoral research scientist at the University of Oxford, the University of Tokyo, and the University of Queensland.
I returned to New Zealand in 2022. I am currently self-employed, working as a freelance researcher, editor and tutor.
I offer private tutoring in chemistry (high school and university levels). I am available for in-person tutoring in Hawke's Bay and on-line tutoring. I have experience tutoring NCEA L2 and L3 chemistry.
My aim is to make chemistry an interesting, engaging (and not too daunting!) experience.
