Her lessons and very engaging and the material she provides can be taken away and used for reviewing and a bit of home learning.
Sonia also provides recordings of the lesson material, so you can listen to it and ensure that you are pronouncing words correctly.
I'm really enjoying my lessons because of the material, but more importantly, because of the laugh and chat I have with Sonia.

From Mark (/5): Sonia is a great tutor! Her lessons are fun and easy to follow. The flexibility using Skype allows me to plan lessons even when travelling for work. Highly recommended Sonia for anyone wanting to improve their Portuguese.

From James (/5): After many trips to Portugal and my partner having a Portuguese family, I thought it was about time I learnt the language. I found Sonia on First Tutors and after the first lesson I knew she was going to be a fun tutor to teach me. I look forward to each lesson, where there is always a new challenge, but Sonia really does teach at your pace. After a few weeks out, I pretty much felt I had forgotten everything and she was happy to go back over previous lessons to jog my memory. Sonia is really friendly and makes learning an new language enjoyable.

I didn't know how it would be learning online but it's really great and the resources she uses are good! The hour goes by really fast! Sonia is great at judging what level you are at and tailoring for you as an individual quickly. She is really friendly and funny and I really look forward to my lessons! Excellent value for money and the first lesson is free! :)
