My wife and I are beginners and attend lessons with Sarah once a week. The lessons take place in Sarah's house in Welwyn - the house is comfortable and welcoming. Sarah is also very welcoming and has a lot of patience! Being a french native, Sarah is able to give a lot of help with pronunciation. The lessons are structured and Sarah always offers lots of additional information and advice on every topic. The lessons often involve a lot of discussion as well as reading and listening to examples. Merci Beaucoup Sarah!!

I have had at least 7 lessons with Alessandra now and have learnt so much!!! I knew some Italian prior to commencing lessons but already feel much improved. Alessandra has taken the time to make a thorough assessment of my strengths and weaknesses and all lessons have been tailored to improvement in key areas. These are well prepared with excellent explanation, examples and both written/verbal practice. Lots of variety in the lesson to cover reading/writing/listening and speaking. Homework is set weekly and marked promptly with corrections fully explained. All in all, a really positive learning environment with excellent delivery.

Chunling is a very good tutor. She teaches both of my 5 and 3 year-old boys and is incredibly patient and dedicated. She is bright and enthusiastic and makes the classes fun for them. She is also very reliable and is always on time and good at communicating in advance of classes if there needs to be a change (which is very unusual). I would highly recommend her as a tutor.

I must say that out of the available tutors, Maki not only offers the best price but also fantastic tuition. I've learned so much in such a short period of time and will continue my sessions until I'm completely fluent. One point to note, Its all well and good being able to speak Japanese and be qualified in teaching it, however, wouldn't you prefer learning from somebody who's a native of Japan? Wouldn't you want to make sure what you're being taught is 100% correct? Need I say more?

Having had to find an alternative French tutor to my previously very good tutor I feel very fortunate indeed to have found Sarah. I feel she provides what the student wants and does it in a way that involves one in the language. I always come away feeling that I have learned something new, and I have! Sarah's technique does not put any pressure on one, like so many entirely book based only courses do. She is a very pleasant and engaging person and I would recommend her most highly.
