Personal Description:

I have been teaching for over 9 years, helping students prepare for grade exams with successful outcomes. I also teach after-school music production classes for M:Tech and have worked with a renowned guitar academy for more than 6 years, teaching students at all levels.

I am a professional guitar and bass tutor, session player and composer for film and video games based in London. I have almost 20 years of dedicated gigging and recording experience with various bands.  I hold a Bachelor's degree in Songwriting and a Master's degree in Composition.
Throughout my journey, I've had the privilege of gigging in world famous venues and composing soundtracks for awarded films.

One of the aspects I love the most of teaching is witnessing the progress and growth of my students. Seeing them achieving their musical goal, is extremely rewarding to me. Every one has their own personal relationship with music. Whether you want to learn a few simple chords to play in your room or nail a challenging solo to play live in Wembley Stadium, I'm here to help. ;)

I value the input of my students, regardless of their age. For younger students, I create a friendly and engaging atmosphere that fosters their creativity and love for music. Tutoring Experience:

Teaching has been my job for almost 10 years helping young people and adults to achieve their objectives, and most of the times even more. So many time students think they will never be able to play that chord, or smash that solo. I really like to prove them wrong! :)

Tutoring Approach:

Creating a relaxed and inspiring environment for my students is very important to me. I believe learning should be a challenging, yet fun journey. I'm gifted with extreme patience, and I’m genuinely happy when my students ask me questions!

How I Structure Lessons:

  • Warm-up:
  We always start by warming up because our instrument is an extension of ourselves. Reconnecting with it each day is a big deal.

  • Core technique:  
This is where we focus on a specific technique—maybe a new chord, a solo idea, a scale, or anything else that fits your level.
Don’t worry—I'll never throw stuff at you that feels out of reach. And even if it does at first, practice always wins.

 • Piece/songwriting:  We usually spend the last part on a piece that ties into what we’re working on. But I always encourage students to bring their own song requests too. This is also where songwriting can come in, if you're feeling confident and want to explore your creative side. We also use professional equipment to record and create song parts and arrangements! (I never push for this and it's important the student feel comfortable in this process)
