I decided to take up piano lessons again after many years. I wanted help to learn to jam and get away from my formal classical training and that's where Janey stepped in. Wow. She is a highly intuitive, fun, inspiring teacher with oodles of energy. I am working towards a grade 6 rock and pop keyboard exam which combines my classical skills and improvisation. I have a busy life through having a small child and being self employed and Janey has accommodated me spectacularly. When I haven't managed to fit practice in she has marvellously adapted the lessons for singing harmonies, helping me get through random pieces I've picked up and also broken down difficult elements so I can practise in 5 mins bursts through my busy schedule. I'm so glad I started lessons again with Janey and look forward to continuing in the future. Thanks for all you have inspired in me. Have I spelt practice/practise right?
