I am a violin beginner. I treat playing the violin as a hobby. Earlier, I couldn't get to the teacher because of the pandemic. I recently found Mrs. Fiona, who helps me correct the mistakes that have become a habit of being self-taught. After a few lessons with Mrs. Fiona, my friends noticed an improvement in the bowing. We are learning to read music and I have mobilized myself to practice regularly. Fiona is very patient and extremely kind. She doesn't criticize me, but does everything she can to help. I've very much enjoyed learning the banjo with Jonathan. His encouraging style and seemingly endless patience allowed me to relax and work through the beginners nerves. It wasn't long before I had the confidence to accept new pieces and enjoy the challenge of getting stuck in knowing that, if I listened to his guidance and put in some practice, I could, before too long, hear my banjo making real music. I would strongly recommend Jonathan to anyone who wants to learn to play.
