I am a secondary maths teacher. I have been teaching maths, French and ICT/Computing since 1993. I enjoy working with children and help them fulfill their potential and achieve their best results.
I also have substantial experience with 11+ exam tutoring.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring alongside my main teaching job throughout my teaching career. I have tutored students of all ages, backgrounds and ability range (9 to 18) as well as adults and from different. For the last two year I have been tutoring with first class tailored tutoring and Kip McGrath agencies.
Tutoring Approach
I always plan my lessons to cater for learning styles.
I like to keep my lesson plans fresh by introducing new and activities to keep my students interest.
I like to use innovative ways of teaching by using different teaching methods an techniques and a variety of resources and teaching materials.
I like to encourage my students to be creative and think for themselves and request feedback from them regularly. I assess their progress with feedback as to how to improve their work.
I am flexible and would go the extra mile in order to accommodate my students in terms of tutoring time and location
