I’m Adam, a first-year student at the University of Warwick studying MORSE (Maths, Operational Research, Statistics & Economics). I achieved A* in A-Level Maths and Further Maths, plus top GCSE results (Maths 9, Advanced Maths A). Having recently completed these exams myself, I know exactly what works to boost grades and build exam confidence. I offer engaging, tailored lessons for GCSE and A-Level Maths/Further Maths, both online and in-person (London).

Tutoring Experience

I have 2 years of experience tutoring GCSE Maths students, supporting them through regular lessons and exam preparation. In that time, I’ve helped students move up grade boundaries and gain confidence in their abilities. Alongside GCSE tutoring, I also work with A-Level Maths and Further Maths students, drawing on my own recent exam success to guide them through the challenges of advanced topics.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is student-focused and goal-driven. I start by identifying strengths and areas for improvement, then tailor lessons to match the student’s needs and exam board. Each session is structured around clear explanations, step-by-step worked examples, and targeted past paper practice. I place a strong emphasis on exam technique — not just knowing the content, but understanding how to apply it under timed conditions.

I aim to create lessons that are interactive and encouraging, so students feel comfortable asking questions and working through mistakes. Progress is tracked carefully, with regular feedback and optional homework to reinforce key concepts between lessons. My goal is always the same: to make maths clearer, build confidence, and help students achieve the grades they are aiming for.
