I am an experienced tutor, qualified teacher, A-level examiner and have a PhD in chemistry. I have been a private tutor for over 15 years and have experience with a wide range of abilities and needs (including SEND learners).

Tutoring Experience

I have experience in private tutoring from secondary to degree level in maths and science. My passion is chemistry and I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge of this amazing subject with students.

I specialise in A-level chemistry but can also provide tuition for university entrance exams and MCAT.

Tutoring Approach

I have a very relaxed approach to tuition and aim to build a rapport with my students so that learning is enjoyable. I use a mix of explanation and exam questions to build knowledge and confidence. Alongside revision and exam techniques to improve grades as much as possible.
