I am a qualified Primary School Teacher from The University of Strathclyde with 14 years experience. Have taught across all stages of primary and I can support and build confidence where needed primarily within literacy but also numeracy where required. I have some basic Gaelic skills and I could support some early stages of this if required.

Tutoring Experience

Within my 14 years of teaching I have 2 years experience of teaching in an international school in Italy. I tutored on a regular basis in Italy focusing on English as an additional language.

On my return to Scotland I gained 2 years experience working within an additional needs provision where I specialised in language and communication needs.

Tutoring Approach

I am flexible in my approach and I can tailor sessions to what is needed. I tend to keep things fairly informal with a predictable structure for familiarity. Keeping sessions fresh with new and fun resources where possible.
