I am a third-year medical student at King’s College London with a strong passion for teaching and supporting others in their learning. My dedication and hardworking nature allow me to approach tasks with patience and persistence, while my kindness and compassion help me build trusting relationships with students. I work especially well with children, creating a positive and encouraging environment that makes learning engaging and accessible. With both academic knowledge and strong interpersonal skills, I am confident in my ability to be an effective and supportive tutor.
Have taught family friends and local younger students in the area for free, in all 3 subjects I am willing to teach in. Have also participated in helping my school peers with their academics. In university, have also spoken to kids and explained concepts to them during my hospital placements.
My teaching approach is very student-focused, and I always try to adapt to the individual needs of whoever I’m working with. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as I believe that’s how real learning happens. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simpler, more relatable ideas, often using examples or analogies to make them easier to understand. I’m patient and empathetic, and I work especially well with children by making lessons engaging and approachable.
