Working with Bernadette has been a breeze. My son (5 y.o.) enjoys his time. She provides a variety of different activities so he can learn through play.

My 7 year old son is currently being tutored by Bernadette in German. Being German myself and us frequently visiting my relatives in Germany, my son wishes to learn German to be able to communicate with his relatives. He won’t let me reach him myself so I looked for someone to be be able to teach him. Bernadette is the perfect fit! My son enjoys going to her house once a week and every time leaves with a smile on his face and many new words and phrases he has learnt. Bernadette is also very flexible and accommodating with our busy weekly schedule and switching between in person and online lessons for him when our schedule doesn’t allow is to attend his lesson in private. We can highly recommend Bernadette as a German tutor for primary school aged children based on our experience.

I wanted extra German tuition during the summer break from my college course as I was due to go on holiday to Germany, and a lot of the time would be with people who spoke little or no English. For this I wanted an in-person tutor rather than online as I feel the conversation flows better.
I found Bernadette's sessions to be really helpful. It was great practice for me to have a native German speaker, speaking at normal speed (so much more challenging to understand compared to most college exercises!), but I knew it would make all the difference when I arrived in Germany.
Bernadette patiently corrected my grammar, taught me new words & phrases that would come in useful, and suggested very helpful extra-curricular material.
I have no hesitation in recommending Bernadette as a German tutor.
