I am an Oxford graduate in mathematical and theoretical physics, currently studying a PhD in theoretical cosmology. I am incredibly passionate about both physics and maths, and love teaching. I provide dynamic, effective tutoring in a friendly environment, which is adapted to individual students’ needs and preferences.
I have been teaching for more than 3 years now, and have gained a great deal of experience helping students at all different levels, such as GCSE, A-level, and IB. I am also heavily involved with teaching at university, where I mark problem sheets, and run workshops on general relativity, particle physics, and cosmology.
I am very much of the attitude that every student is different, and that what works for one person may not work for the next. My approach to teaching, therefore, is to find the style of learning that best suits the individual; often this is a very problem-based strategy, in which we do lots of practical questions and examples. I also like to try and use digital resources, such as interactive graphing calculators, to make things as visual and memorable as possible.
