I'm a qualified science teacher with 8 years of experience, specialising in GCSE Science and A Level Biology. I’ve also worked as an exam marker, so I understand what examiners are really looking for and how to help students succeed. I’m passionate about making science accessible and enjoyable, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions and take ownership of their learning.
I have experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics up to GCSE level, as well as Biology at A Level.
Over the past eight years, I have taught in three different secondary schools, giving me a broad understanding of diverse learning environments and student needs.
I have helped many students achieve — and often exceed — their target grades, with recent teaching focused on the AQA specifications for GCSE Sciences. I also have experience delivering OCR A Level Biology.
My teaching style is student-centred, with a strong focus on building confidence, mastering core concepts, and developing effective exam technique. I adapt each session to the individual needs of the student, using clear explanations, active engagement, and targeted practice to make learning both accessible and effective.
