Tutoring Experience

Secondary teaching in South and West Yorkshire 1996 to 2005 including Head of MFL 2000 - 2002.
Tutoring students and adults privately since 2016, face to face and online. French Spanish and English from 11 years old to adults.

Tutoring Approach

I bring a calm, encouraging and supportive approach to my teaching. I listen to the student's problems and target problem areas. I prepare and adapt sessions appropriately with regular reviews along the way. Everyone learns slightly differently! I aim to overlap with areas being studied at school to effectively reinforce those areas of knowledge and boost confidence.
