I am an experienced Mathematics specialist with 21+ years in UK secondary education, delivering exceptional results through personalised tutoring for Key Stages 3-5.

Tutoring Experience

• 21+ years' teaching experience in four comprehensive secondary schools in England, including at A Level Mathematics.

• 15+ years' experience as an UK Mathematics Trust Coordinator, organising individual and team Maths Challenges, Kangaroos and Olympiads for the schools.

• Marking GCSE papers as an Examiner for Pearson Edexcel from 2016 to 2023.

Tutoring Approach

Lessons can be tailored to fill gaps in understanding, or I can shadow the topics done in their school. Where students are unsure of their areas of strength and in need of development, I am happy to send a test paper via email for the student to take prior to our first lesson. This data will also be useful in the initial consultation with the student and parent(s).

I believe that given enough support, encouragement and guided 'deliberate' practice time, every student can achieve; and equally every student can improve from their current working-at-grade.

I am also able to use Zoom or Microsoft Teams to teach remotely.
