I have recently completed a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh where I also studied for my undergraduate degree and masters in Chemistry and Physics. I consider myself to be approachable and patient as well as knowledgeable in all areas of Chemistry, Physics and Maths. I have consistently acheived high grades during my studies and able to provide support with revision and exam techniques to help people do the same!
Over the last four years I have taught groups of Chemistry undergraduates in both Physical, Inorganic and Materials Chemistry labs. I have also led workshops in crystallography for Materials Chemistry masters students.
Previously I have tutored students both online and in person in GCSE, National 5 and A-level Chemistry.
My approach as a tutor is to identify sticking points and issues of confusion within the subject and provide the support and space for the student to overcome these challenges.
