I am a qualified French teacher but I have also delivered private tuition lessons online and in person. I currently work part time as a French teacher but enjoy teaching on a one to one basis and helping people achieve certain aims, whether that be enough language to go on holiday or gain the correct skills and knowledge to pass an exam.
I have taught French for the last 26 years and have also delivered private tuition to children and adults. I teach pupils from 11yrs to 18 yrs. I have taught in both the state sector and the private sector. I am an examiner for one of the exam boards for GCSE French oral exams. Thus I have lots of experience in conducting and marking the exams. I now teach the new GCSE and new A-level courses so I am well placed to help prepare pupils for their exams.
I also moderate the CE exams in French for my school so I am able to tutor for the Common Entrance exams sat by prep school pupils.
I am happy to tutor from my home or I can travel a little. I am able to adapt my teaching to the needs of the tutee. I am happy to teach to exams or do conversation classes. I use a wide range of resources to help in my teaching. I have taught both children and adults in the past.
