I was raised on David Attenborough and for the longest time aspired to be him.
I spent my early career as a marine biologist, working in Australia, Iceland and Kent.
I worked as a science teacher for 7 years (leaving the profession in 2023 to pursue a career in science) starting in secondary schools and spending the final 5 years at a college in Leeds.
I specialize in biology but I was also the lead physics teacher at my college.
Science should be a subject that captures the imagination as it did mine and I don't believe in making education dry to the point where it loses that wonder.
I bring my whiteboard and pens. We will explore topics through diagrams, worked examples and above all form connections between points within topics.
