Hello! I am a young professional, who has recently made a career change from mathematics teacher to working for a financial advising company in Colchester. Hoping to one day return to teaching, but wanting some extra experiences in the corporate world before settling down!
Tutoring Experience
I trained to be a teacher in 2020 by completing a PGCE in secondary mathematics. Following this, I worked in a secondary school in Ipswich for two years. Throughout my two years I taught all year groups ranging from year 7 to 11.
Tutoring Approach
My approach to teaching Maths is ensuring that it is broken down into manageable components, and checking for understanding at each new step. I am friendly, but I also have high expectations for working hard.
