I am a retired primary school teacher and I have taught all my career.I live in Chesterfield and know the area well.I was a pupil at Chesterfield Grammar School and then studied at Derby College of Education.I started my teaching career in Barnet North London and then worked in Chesterfield until I retired.

I have taught in primary schools all my working life and have taught throughout the primary age range.I have also been a tutor and have tutored children of all primary ages

Tutoring Approach

I try to build up the students confidence and I believe in using praise and encouragement to assist progress.I plan the lessons individually according to the students ability and needs.If necessary I would be able to revise concepts that the student may be unsure of.
