Tutoring Approach

I work with an evidence based approach based on the best current understanding of teaching and learning. I would start with a baseline test to gauge where the student is up to and from there deliver a tailored set of lessons.
I take a very encouraging approach to each lesson which would start off with a teacher led explanation, followed by a period of teacher-guided written work or problem practice, finally followed by some assessment questions pulled from past papers.
