I am a Cambridge History Graduate (1983) BA Hons 2:1 and enjoy all areas of History. I have taught all ages from 11-18 but mainly GCSE and A Level. I am familiar with both the revised GCSE and A Level courses, including the coursework module.
Tutoring Experience
I have taught for 32 years (31 in Kent). The majority of this time was at a Girls' Grammar School. I currently tutor a Year 13 student who attends a local Grammar School.
Tutoring Approach
I like to agree the topic beforehand and will provide notes for the student as well as a series of activities (including discussion) to draw out the best from the student and support their learning. Activities will relate to examination style questions as appropriate.
