My name is Joanna, and I live in Buckinghamshire with my husband. I love reading, travel and spin classes!
I have extensive and wide-ranging teaching experience, having taught in international, state and independent schools. I have over a decade of experience teaching History across the full age and ability range, and 7 years of experience teaching Government and Politics at A-level. I have also been Head of Department (History and Government and Politics) for the past three years.
I would describe my approach as warm and flexible. I enjoy getting to know students and building a rapport with them. It’s important to understand the unique learning styles of different students, and will adapt my approach accordingly. I love to see students who feel challenged and stretched, and who are able to push themselves to reach their potential.
