I am incredibly passionate about the subject of English and work hard with learners to help them achieve. All my students have achieved beyond their expectations. I am known to be friendly and approachable. As well as my career, I regularly attend literary lectures, the theatre and read a wide range of literature.

Tutoring Experience

I am currently a Deputy Head of School, having previously been Head of English for five years. I have been an English teacher for ten years. I have a Masters in English Literature. I teach primarily GCSE English and A Level English. Recently, I have been tutoring students for A Level, GCSE and KS3.

Tutoring Approach

I have a very positive approach to helping students achieve. As tutoring is often one to two hours, per week, I work strategically with my students to help them reach their potential. I hope to guide learners to be confident and independent learners. Happy to provide student reviews.
