Joe
My name is Joe and I have a PGCert/PGDip/MA in Physical Education and School Sport and a degree in BSC (Hons) Sports Science. I am open to tutoring numerous subjects (listed) at KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and GCSE and PE at A-Level and Degree.
I play ice-hockey at a semi professional level and cricket at a first class club level.
Tutoring Experience
I am currently working at a secondary school as Maths teacher. I have previous experience as a Cover Supervisor and PE teacher. I have worked closely with SEN children on a 1:1 basis.
Tutoring Approach
I want to be able to inspire young people not to give up. I have a flexible approach to curriculum and learning and I have the ability to adapt subjects to meet each individual child's needs. To be a successful tutor I believe you need to identify a child's needs and strengths, you need to have strong communication skills and be sensitive/accepting to each individual.
