I'm a Spanish and Portuguese graduate who is working as a English language assistant in Spain. I enjoy explaining concepts and seeing improvement in my students. I am looking to do a PGCE to become a modern language teacher in secondary schools.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a language assistant for one year, I also have been doing one to one English classes for a year in Spain both online and in person, teaching both children and adults. I've taught people who have been preparing for exams to improve their work opportunities or just to improve their conversational English. I have given Spanish classes to one student also.

My teaching approach is flexible and the lessons are often based on the interests of the student, using topics they enjoy as a springboard to explain concepts in greater depth and make learning more engaging. For students preparing for exams such as GCSEs or A-levels, I tailor lessons directly to the syllabus, ensuring that all required content is covered thoroughly while also reinforcing key exam skills like analysis and essay writing. This balance between personalization and curriculum focus helps students stay motivated while building the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.
