Initially worked in industry, qualified as a teacher and have recently retired. I have a grown-up family including 4 grandchildren.
I like all sport but particularly enjoy rugby and cricket.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught science and chemistry up to A level standard for over thirty years in several comprehensives and have been a head of science. I am familiar with all examination boards including Level 3 BTEC and have marked externally for examination boards.

Tutoring Approach

I always attempt to simplify work (where possible) to instil confidence and enjoyment.
Since retiring, I only commit to tutoring four students per week to ensure quality of delivery.
