Lakhi

Hello, I am Lakhi, an aspiring Investment Banker.

I have a background of strong academics and an interest in the art of learning. I have spent years tutoring students of all ages and personalities- I have found that each student has their strengths, which we can leverage to maximise their academic potential.

I am currently learning to play the piano and continuing my studies of Spanish- I have been learning it independently for 3 years now- I practice every single day! I also like to travel: I just came back from Nanchang, China and I'm thinking of seeing Singapore next :)

Tutoring Experience

Experienced tutor of 4 years- have taught over 40 students aged 8-18 and helped many of them jump up two grades. Have taught groups of students before, as well as one-to-one.

Tutoring Approach

I always teach using the specification as a checklist, with exam board in mind to give my students specific exam tips as we go. I believe in active learning so practice is integrated within lessons. More difficult exam-style questions are given to students as homework, which will be checked first thing the following lesson. Each lesson is planned and tailored to the pupil.
