Free introductory session. Ready to take on additional students to prepare for 2025 exams in AS and A level Psychology.
I have worked as an A Level Psychology teacher for 15 years. I thoroughly enjoy working with students and seeing the progress they make. There’s no doubt that Psychology can be a challenging subject, but it is also one of the most interesting. I have worked with sixth formers and in university settings. I enjoy working with students both online and in person.
I am an experienced and enthusiastic psychology teacher / examiner. I teach the AQA specification over the traditional 2 year structure and also as a fast track option. I previously worked as a Careers Adviser in a university and taught study skills / psychology on an Access Programme. I am happy to assist in exploring career options and completing UCAS applications. I also have experience working as a part time tutor with the Open University. I am comfortable tutoring in person or virtually via MS Teams / Skype.
My main goal is to support each student to meet their full potential. I often have students join my class, after underachieving in psychology the previous year at school. Regularly they attain 2-3 grades higher. Their hard work is the main reason for such improvement, but I hope my student focused and dedicated approach assists them. Identifying strengths and areas for development, is key to success.
