I studied French and German with International Marketing at the University of Aston in Birmingham, which then led me to a career in marketing both in the UK and overseas. Having worked in Germany and the Middle East for some years I now live in North Cornwall with my family. I love languages and enjoy sharing this passion with learners of all ages.

Tutoring Experience

Having completed my Graduate Trainee Programme at the University of St Mark and St John in Plymouth I taught primary French in Cornwall and am now a French Tutor with Cornwall Adult Education service.

Tutoring Approach

I look to make sessions engaging and fun, whilst supporting each learner with their school curriculum. Having taught my own reluctant children French, I understand how important it is to build confidence whilst developing an interest in the language to achieve the best results. I can meet with a learner for an initial discussion and then build future lessons around their own particular needs.
