Tutoring Experience

I study English Language and Literature at Oxford after receiving an A* in English literature at A-level. I have learned what it takes to successfully tutor, having studied alongside other bright minds in close-knit tutorial settings. Combining this with my passion and enthusiasm, I believe students can learn from me with confidence and avidity.

Tutoring Approach

Lessons will be centred around your individual needs as a student, and we will work together to hone your abilities with a carefully constructed teaching plan. I can cover essay writing, critical reading, analysis of texts, coursework, and more.

At Oxford I have studied various periods of literature ranging from Old and Middle English, to Shakespeare, the Victorian era, and the present day. I am also familiar with the process of applying to Oxbridge, and can offer assistance with personal statements, interviews, and admissions tests such as the ELAT that involve a comparison of passages.
