I have a physics/maths background having studied physics as my first degree and also having obtained a PhD in Astrophysics. I worked as a researcher in astrophysics for more than 15 years, a job which has been extremely interesting and rewarding, and I am currently a data analyst in the civil service.

Tutoring Experience

I have many years experience in tutoring, having started in 2003. Even though I have a day job, tutoring is something I truly enjoy, as I love helping students reach their potential in my favoirite subjects! In the last few years, I have helped many students achieve top grades in GCSE and A-level, in both maths and further maths.

Tutoring Approach

I only tutor maths currently and take on students that go for the higher GCSE papers and also aim to get top marks. Similarly for A-level I want my students to aim for top marks. This is because I expect the dedication and hard work that comes with high aspirations. I guarantee that I will help you achieve the best mark you can get!
