I have always been passionate about numbers and the ways they connect with each other --- studying the subject at University deepened my understanding and gave me the chance to help others in an on-campus teaching role, while studying for my PhD.

Tutoring Experience

The teaching role at University involved supporting undergraduates in a class setting. I also have several years' experience in private tuition, helping to raise the grades of many satisfied clients --- references are available.

Tutoring Approach

During a typical lesson, which usually lasts 1 hour, I encourage a student to demonstrate their study methods so that we can identify their strengths and the areas that can be improved.
Then I carefully explain the challenging concepts, monitoring their progress through examples until the topic 'clicks'.
Although I have not yet tutored online, I am interested in learning to do this, to expand my client base.
