Tutoring Approach

I believe that the selection of teaching methods must take into account not only the nature of the subject matter but also how students learn. I will use data to plan the instructional decision. I will depend on previous test scores or chapter test data in order to make the decision. As a tutor my job is to help the student to learn to question, debate and explore in order to acquire a deeper understanding of the subject matter. I use appropriate questions to focus students’ attention, stimulate their thinking, and check for understanding
