I enjoy teaching maths at any level, and love to see students gain confidence in their abilities. I am patient, encouraging and easy to get along with.
I have been tutoring maths for 20 years now. I have also been teaching maths at a secondary school for 7 years. I'm experienced at working with neurodiverse students including those with ASD and anxiety. I have experience with the main exam boards including OCR, Edexcel and AQA.
I try to develop student's confidence and independence in mathematics through problem solving, links to other topics and repeated practice. I try and shape the lessons to the student depending on their ability, needs and goals. I have a range of different methods and approaches I can use for various topics. I am patient and mindful of the need to look over topics again and again, each time delving slightly deeper to gain a fuller understanding.
