Ruben

Still early days I booked Ruben for both my boys (yr 12 and yr 9) on the strength of the reviews here. Ruben sent homework before the initial session for both boys at their respective levels to ascertain shortfalls/gaps in knowledge which is what a good teacher does.

I talked to both boys after their sessions and they both said the tuition level is good for them. Both boys are aspiring to have top grades, and I hope so with Ruben's help and targeted interventions.

Ruben was a fantastic tutor !
We started using him when the pandemic began and schools were closed. We were initially concerned about online, however Ruben had a great set up for this.
After using Ruben, my sons confidence grew and his exam results increased and he began to score very highly in his tests and then predicted grade exams.
We highly valued the fact, that Ruben always contacted us if he felt he need to discuss my sons work or progress. He helped put my son at ease when his exam board unexpectedly changed half way through the year, and helped him adapt to the new syllabus and style of questions.
His lessons were invaluable in helping him achieve his A* for his A Level Economics which allowed him to go to his First choice University.
