I am an experienced and successful Science/Maths teacher / Assistant Head who is newly semi retired. I am also an examiner for GCSE. I live in the Chester area. I am willing to travel to tutor, deliver online lessons or conduct lessons at my house. (I have an update CRB check.)

Tutoring Experience

I have very successfully taught Science and Maths for over 30 years. I am familiar with up to date exam boards details. I was also a Head of Sixth Form for many years. I have worked closely with students and their families to facilitate their learning to ensure that they reach their potential in my different teaching roles.

Tutoring Approach

I have a very student centred approach and pride myself in being an excellent communicator, able to brake down complex ideas to enable understanding. I can and will adapt my teaching style to match the students needs.
