I have been teaching for over 25 years. I have two grown ups that were once children.
I like horse-riding and motocross.
I have been published in local and national press with articles on education.
I have taught in both the independent and state sector. I have had learning resources published and have been used as a fact checker for textbooks published by the Oxford University Press. I currently teach in one of the Birmingham grammar schools. I have been tutoring 1:1 since the start of my career with great results
I have been an examiner for AQA and worked for OCR to develop learning resources.
I tailor make my lessons to suit student needs. The focus is on understanding exam criteria and exam practice but I show students how to make short cuts in their learning through the use of memory devices.
I am willing to meet students face to face as long as the travel distance is reasonable and in line with my commute.
This year my results from school were 31% A*.
