Steve has been outstanding. He is efficient, focused and completely on the ball. He explains even the most complex maths problems in a clear, logical and accessible way, which really helped my daughter consolidate what she knew and apply it with confidence.

Although she has always been strong in maths, her exam results had never quite reflected her ability. Steve’s teaching helped bridge that gap. His structured approach, deep knowledge of the subject and consistent encouragement made a real difference.

He was generous with praise, always positive and incredibly flexible with his time. He brought real energy and care to each session, making the most of every minute.

While we do not yet know the outcome of the exams, the most important thing is that my daughter went in feeling calm, well prepared and confident in herself. That alone has been invaluable.

We would highly recommend Steve to anyone looking for expert, thoughtful and effective support in A-Level maths.

Steven has been an excellent find, and has been nothing but helpful since we first met with him. He initially spent time getting to understand the areas that our son struggled most with, and has subsequently tailored sessions to the priority areas. Our son enjoys his tutoring sessions, and has really gained confidence since starting weekly sessions, and his teachers have noticed this too in the classroom.

Very friendly. Flexible with scheduling. Recognised and adapted to my learning style. Very good at explaining different concepts in as much detail as needed. Focussed on what I needed help with. Kept me involved in every session. Made me comfortable with the content as well as exam technique. Was good to get a different perspective from my school lessons.

Chris was very focussed and committed to his studies and displayed great skill and tenacity when problem solving. Chris was able to learn key results which enabled him to complement his ability to navigate his way through questions. I was hugely impressed with his improvements in the subject as the year progressed and confidently anticipate a well deserved great final result.
Update: Chris succeeded in attaining his target grade in Mathematics and has been successful with his HE application- very well done!

My daughter has had a short tuition time during half term for A Level Math with Steven and he has been very good, helpful and approachable. I would recommend him.

This student applied herself extremely well during the intensive half term revision sessions. This student took full ownership of the subject and had clear ideas as to which topics she deemed required reviewing.I feel confident that this student will do well in this summer’s A level Mathematics exams.
Update: This student achieved an A in mathematics and has been successful in her HE application.

Steven is extremely pleasant and I believe wants the best for his students. On this occasion he pointed out that at my daughter's level of maths needs he would be unable to provide the tuition that she needs to provide the best outcome for her. The reason I put 4 is only because I now need to find an appropriate tutor.
