I am a statistics graduate from the University of Warwick, now working as a data scientist, with previous experience teaching first year students at university. I’ve always been fascinated by how maths reveals patterns in the world around us, and I have a keen interest in football analytics. I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Maths and A*s in A-Level Maths and Further Maths, as well as first-class honours in my degree, so I would be comfortable teaching maths at any level.
In addition to tutoring my younger brothers for their GCSE Maths exams, I worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant during my time at the University of Warwick. In this role, I supported first-year students in introductory probability and programming courses, leading small group tutorial sessions. This deepened my appreciation for helping others build confidence in mathematical thinking.
I take an adaptable and approach to tutoring, recognising that everyone learns differently. At all levels, I believe the key to doing well in maths is through clear explanations, repeated practice, and plenty of worked examples to build both understanding and intuition. I’m patient and committed to making sure students grasp each concept, adjusting my methods to suit their individual pace and learning style.
