In my search for an English tutor for my 15 y.o… I was adamant that I wanted a qualified, experienced teacher - not a university student. It was important that the person who fulfilled this position have a range of proven strategies to address the weaknesses in my child's knowledge of the subject. It is also important to me that the English tutor has a sound knowledge of spelling, punctuation and grammar skills and is therefore less likely to expose my child to contemporary English usage such **Web Address Removed** and… ", "snuck" (It's actually "sneaked") or "I's" - the list is endless!! Hence, my search for an actual English teacher. I believe I found these qualities in Jennifer. At present, we have had only one tutoring session but I am confident that my child and I will be well pleased with my choice over time.
