Information About Cuan - Kilkenny tutor

Personal Description:

Hi, I'm Cuan . I've been teaching English for twelve years. For the past nine years, I have taught in the same school, consistently getting the best results out of my students.

English is my passion outside of the classroom, too. I've written three novels (unpublished) and I read every day to keep myself sharp and effective as an analyst of the English language.

I have also been published in The Irish Times 'Secret Teacher' column four times.

Tutoring Experience:

Twelve years, with experience in all boys, girls and mixed schools.

Approach to Grinds:

I provide my own essays and notes. I never ask a student to do something I'm unable or unwilling to do myself. I help them find their own style by modelling their early work on my samples or other pieces of work that I find beneficial. I've had proven success over the years helping students fulfill their potential and bring up their grades one or two levels.

I also like to go over essays that the student has completed to show what is working and what isn't so they can identify their strengths, which is crucial for the paper one composition essay.
