Personal Description:

I am a responsible and dedicated Spanish teacher with a passionate commitment to student development and the learning experience. I have demonstrated a talent for designing age-appropriate lessons and activities that teach fundamental academic and socialization skills, and a proven ability to offer individualized support, ensuring that all students’ unique needs and goals are met.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 7 years of experience in teaching both English and Spanish languages. Before my current job, I worked creating and giving classes in English adapted to business and sales, as well as preparing students for their official language certificates in a School of languages in Malaga (Spain). I also participated in the creation of an online Spanish course for another school of languages in Malaga, designing activities for different levels and different skills. Besides this, I have experience supporting and providing private Spanish and English tutoring to students of diverse ages and goals. I am currently working as a Spanish teacher in a secondary school.

I have worked as a Spanish teacher in a secondary school for the last 7 years. Thanks to my position, I am in contact with the materials, methodologies, and strategies requested for the Junior and Leaving certificates, which makes me able to design my classes knowing the right way to help students achieve their goals. I have been an exam supervisor and an oral examiner for the SEC.

Approach to Grinds:

I believe that the best way to learn a language is by first discovering my students' needs, likes, and plans. That's what helps me create the best lessons and activities. For that, it is necessary to give importance to the oral part of the learning process. It is very important to let the student get used to listening and speaking the language they are trying to learn, discovering their deficiencies and fixing them, without diminishing the importance of the rest of language skills.

Apart from that, the methodologies and strategies for each student will vary depending on the goals and needs that they have. For junior and leaving certificates students, it is essential to adapt our classes to their exams and procedures taken at their schools. Nevertheless, my lessons will be designed to be dynamic, effective, productive, and entertaining.
