Information About Rebekah - Palmerston North tutor

Personal Description:

Hey I'm Rebekah and I live in New Zealand. I enjoy gardening as I enjoy challenge as it can be at times.
I am an artist and apply this passion to my lessons each time, as visual learning is easier to understand than just discussions.
I want to be a great teacher and have always done roles which assist others in some way.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring intermediate and advanced English language students since January this year with conversations and grammar. I also assist students with writing but not for exams. I am planning to study towards this.

I also have experience in Early Childhood Education, but decided to continue on to becoming and currently studying to be an English language teacher.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is through discussions, debates, visual aids which involve enjoyable exercises.
I also can adjust the approach to whatever feels right and more helpful for you.
E.g. I have one student that enjoys visual learning so I never adjust it and another who prefers discussions.

I use videos, poems, songs, tv shows and movies to make lessons more enjoyable and it is helpful to be able to build pronunciation and intonation skills to become fluent and more confident in English.
