I'm very glad I chose Sophie as my tutor. I wanted someone who could be flexible to meet my specific goals. I also picked her because she's a tutor with plenty of experience but still young and using today's language and cultural norms. I spend my life on Zoom but still wasn't sure how well learning a language would work. I'm very pleased at how the relationship has worked and how effective Sophie has made the learning. What I really like about Sophie is that it's clear she has all of the "stock lessons" however it's she thinks about her clients and builds personalised lessons around topics and content that reflects their interests. She makes the lessons engaging, fun and challenging so I'm always making progress. Every lesson is different. Our lessons are by Skype and Sophie has mastered it so it works seamlessly with conversation, audio clips, video clips providing the lesson content. She uses the chat to provide feedback, vocabulary, grammar and links to other resources. The chat also captures these so you don't need to take notes. Excellent !
